History
From FAME's "About Us" webpage: "On November 10, 1970, Judge Milford Anness, an original founder, walked into the courthouse in Columbus, Indiana, and left carrying the official incorporation documents for the Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelism. The vision for FAME actually began years earlier, in the heart of Dr. Dennis Pruett, who foresaw a medical mission organization that would reach around the world..."
FAME is sending help and hope in the name of Christ to the world’s most vulnerable through medical evangelism.
Their vision is to be a Global Leader in evangelism through healthcare.

CSC's Involvement with FAME
As with many of our beloved service trips, CSC got involved with FAME through one of our staff members. In this case, Kristen Browning is the culprit.
How You Can Be Involved
- Go: I would love to invite you to join us when we return to FAME! Or, you can get your own trip together by contacting them at FAME@FAMEworld.org.
- If you are a student, an alumni, or a member of a supporting church and you would like to attend, fill out the form at the bottom of this page!
- Prayer and fasting
- Give: You can give directly to FAME here:
- You can also give to our next FAME trip, coming up in January or February 2026. Your support of our mission trips and our students is always appreciated. Students will be required to pay around $50 for gas and lodging, with CSC subsidizing the cost through $2 dinners on Sunday nights and Trivia nights in the Fall and Spring. You can give on our give page, by check with "FAME support" in the memo line, or with cash in person. All donations are charitable gifts as CSC is a registered not-for-profit in Illinois and under the IRS by virtue of being a religious organization.
- Supply: FAME takes donations of medical supplies throughout the year. Follow this link to get more information on how to supply FAME.
