Mission
The WIU Food Pantry opened in 2018 to help alleviate food insecurity on campus. They are located in Horrabin Hall, room 10, and serve over 100 students and faculty each week.
CSC's Involvement
CSC has had current and previous students and alumni who have volunteered their time at the pantry, been on the e-board, or have been aided by the food panrty
How You Can Be Involved
- Serve: you can join this Group Me chat to learn how to volunteer and when deliveries are scheduled
- Pray - pray for the students on campus who are affected by food insecurity and the volunteers and staff who dedicate their time to maintain and stock the pantry each week
- Give: They welcome donations of food, hygiene products, household items, and school supplies year-round. Perishable and large donations must be arranged in advance. Monetary donations can be made via check
